Thamari Lake is one such spot which offers a moderate trek to the natural lake, and the en route filled with paper trees and rich flora is a beautiful sight to admire. It is also known for its Musk deer population.A visit to Birthi falls can also be a pleasant view to enjoy with family. The waterfall and its surroundings have a soothing effect on the travelers. Visit to the Nanda Devi Temple can be a mix of religion, architecture and scenic delight.

Built in ancient Kumaoni architecture, it attracts treks with a hike that leads to beautiful surroundings. One must not miss Madkot, famous for its natural hot springs; there was a belief that these springs can heal ailments as well. Maheshwari Kund is another lake that can be visited for its ethereal views of the mountains.

Apart from places to visit, Munsiyari offers various adventure activities to explore. Right from river rafting in Gori Ganga river to skiing in Panchuli peaks are a must-look-out for adventure seekers. Climatic Condition

Munsiyari remains pleasant during the summer months of March to June when temperature ranges between 14° C and 24° C, while winters become harsh with snowfall right from November. Monsoons start from July and go on till mid–September, making it difficult for tourists to visit the hill station.
