Tamilnadu Tour Itineraries

If you spend a bit of time on our website you might come to the conclusion that we have a particular love for Tamil Nadu, and you’d be right. Indian Panorama was born here, and it remains our spiritual home. Although far less known, and less visited, than the neighbouring state of Kerala, the variety of experiences on offer in Tamil Nadu is every bit as enticing as anywhere in India.

From the stupendous temples of Madurai, Tanjore and Trichy to the far smaller but no less important village shrines which you’ll find everywhere, a dedication to the divine is never far from view in Tamil Nadu.

While almost any trip to Tamil Nadu will feature one or more of these famous temples, while you’re here you can also explore the impossibly opulent mansions of Chettinad, watch craftsmen at work making bronze statues in much the same way as their forebears did 1000 years ago, wander around a local vegetable market, or stroll on a beach with plenty of fishermen but almost no tourists. Or, head up into the Western Ghats to chill out (literally) in the hill stations of Ooty and Kodaikanal.

Seek out solace in a remote valley near Dingidul, walk in a village with locals or circumambulate the sacred mountain, Arunachala, in the company of thousands of pilgrims.Tamil Nadu is India at her very best- come and see us here soon.
