Bibhuti bhusan wildlife Sanctuary also known as parmadan Forest, is situated at the icchanati river in the north 24 paraganas district of west Bengal and was established in 1980 to give honour to the Bibhutibhusan Bandhyopadhay, a famous Bengali writer. This sanctuary is an abode of numerous animal species and beautiful birds, and you spotted nearly 300 deer's. You can also spot different types of trees like minjiri,arjun,shimul,bamboo and so on. The sanctuary is the home of different mammals like elephants, leopards, sloth bears, deer, jungle cats, tigers, and some of the unique and rare birds like the white bellied sea eagle, the great Indian hornbill and reptiles like the Indian star tortoise, Indian python and so on.
