St. Mary's Orthodox Syrian Church in Niranam, popularly known as Niranam Pally is an ancient historic church that belongs to the Niranam Diocese of the Malankara Orthodox Syrian Church. Tradition holds that this church was established by Thomas the Apostle in AD 52, making it one of the oldest churches in Kerala, and consequently, in India and the world. It is situated in Niranam, near Thiruvalla in the Pathanamthitta district of Kerala. The architecture displays notable resemblances to ancient temple architecture.
