Oachira Parabrahma Temple is well-known for its annual Oachira Kali. It involves men, both young and old, engaging in mock fights in a waterlogged paddy field known as padanilam at Oachira Temple, creating a lively and spirited atmosphere. This tradition commemorates a historic conflict between the former Kayamkulam and Ambalapuzha kingdoms.
