Detailed Itineary

  • Day 1 : Colombo– Negombo

    Once your arrive at the Bandaranaike International Airport at Colombo, one of our representatives will greet you and assist to get transferred to Negombo.

    Negombo is considered to be the most prominent location for Sri Lanka’s fishing industry. Visit the Negombo lagoon and witness the fish auction. The Catholic Church and Dutch Fort are the other prominent locations to visit.

  • Day 2 : Negombo – Dambulla

    This day starts with a drive to Dambulla, famous for the cave temples. On your way, visit the Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage. More than 90 orphaned elephants are being maintained here and you can spend some time with them before you proceed to Dambulla.

    Visit the cave temples in Dambulla. You can see more than 150 statues of Lord Buddha and lot of fresco paintings drawn with the natural ingredients of earthly matters. The paintings describe the various incidents connected to the different religions and the collection of paintings is acclaimed to be the largest in the world.

  • Day 3 : Dambulla – Sigiriya – Minneriya – Dambulla

    This morning, you will start on a day excursion. First you drive to Sigiriya, where the Lion Rock and the fortified town is seen and is acclaimed as the World Heritage Site. Fresco paintings are seen in this rock which are renowned among the global travelers. You have to climb through a spiral staircase formed naturally to reach the top and enjoy these wonders.

    Also visit Minneriya National Park. The wet lands accommodate plenty of animals like elephants, amphibians and fish species are found here. Do a jeep safari to catch the beauty of this park before returning to hotel.

  • Day 4 : Dambulla – Pasikuda

    After a relaxed breakfast, proceed to Pasikuda. Check into the hotel and rest of the day is for you to explore the beach destination.

  • Day 5 : Pasikuda Day Tour

    The entire day is at your leisure. Explore Pasikuda, the beautiful beach destination.

  • Day 6 : Pasikuda – Kandy

    Post breakfast, drive to Kandy. On your way, visit the Spice gardens at Matale. It will be an unique experience to walk through the spices and herbs grown in these gardens and you have separate sales outlets to take back some herbs and spices to gift your family and friends.

    Resume your drive to reach Kandy. Rest of the day is at your leisure.

  • Day 7 : Kandy Sightseeing

    Kandy is the last and most popular capital of the Sinhalese Kingdom. It is vividly seen that Kandy still beholds its ancient glory and heritage and has not lost its treasures against the rapid modernizations. The legends and folklore are kept alive in this beautiful city. The shopping areas and the gem factory are of interest for the global travellers. Later in the evening, visit the most prominent Temple of Buddha’s Tooth Relic. Also enjoy the traditional cultural show before returning to hotel.

  • Day 8 : Kandy – Nuwara Eliya – Yala

    After an early breakfast, start your drive to Yala National Park. En route, visit the Little England of Sri Lanka, Nuwara Eliya. It is the most sought after hill station in Sri Lanka popular for the pleasant climate and the lush green tea plantations.

    Also visit Ramboda Waterfalls on the way before continuing your drive to Yala. Reach Yala and rest of the day is to relax.

  • Day 9 : Yala National Park

    This day is meant for zooming into the wildlife at Sri Lanka’s largest National Park in Yala. Being the home for wild elephants, boars and deers, Yala National Park has much more to explore with a safari into the dense woods. You can also get to see the large flocks of the migratory birds, a true visual retreat.

    Explore through the dense jungle before returning to your place of stay. Overnight stay at Yala.

  • Day 10 : Yala – Galle

    After a relaxed breakfast, start your drive to Galle. After reaching Galle, the entire day is at your leisure to relax or to explore the nearby places.

  • Day 11 : Galle City Tour

    The entire day is for you to go around Galle. It was once the chief trading port which attracted the British, Dutch and Portuguese. The Galle Fort is the most popular attraction in the city admired for its spectacular architecture, though it is remaining in the ruined condition. Galle is equally famous among the tourists for the Ebony elephants, tortoise shell curios and hand-made lace.

  • Day 12 : Galle – Colombo

    Post breakfast, start your drive to Colombo, the capital city of Sri Lanka. After relaxing for some time at the hotel, start for a City Tour of Colombo. The fort and Petta (Bazaar areas) are more impressive and you can get surprised to know that Colombois one of the rapidly developing and modernized cities attracting global travellers round the year. The locations kindling your interest are aplenty such as shopping malls, temples and dagobas, with the right blend of the ancient culture and modern lifestyles. The night life of Colombois yet another interesting one to cherish.

  • Day 13 : Departure From Colombo

    After breakfast at hotel, drive towards the Bandaranaike International Airport to board the flight as per your departure schedule.
