The rock cut architectures, temples, rock reliefs dating back to 6th century Pallava dynasty are the timeless wonders in Mahabalipuram. Especially, the Ratha temples, Krishna’s butter ball, Arjuna’s penance which is a huge monolithic structure gives you an experience of life time.

Continue your journey via the East Coast Road for another 25 kilometers to reach Dakshina Chitra, a model campus depicting the culture of South India.The Dakhsina Chitra premises has the replicas of houses you find in any native villages in the South Indian states like Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka and Kerala. The model houses constructed in Dakshina Chitra are built in line with the typical structure of those houses in the respective states.
