The nearest airport is Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose International Airport in Kolkata. The distance from Kolkata airport to Tamluk (the district headquarters) is around 100 Km and it will take 2.5 hrs drive. From Digha to Kolkata airport is around 200 Km and it will take 4.5 hrs drive.

By Rail:
The district (Purba Medinipur) has good rail connectivity, especially via Digha, Tamluk and Contai, with direct trains from Howrah.

By Road:
Purba Medinipur is easy to reach by road. Buses and private cars run regularly from Kolkata, Howrah, and nearby towns. The roads are good, and the drive is pleasant, especially near the sea coast.
