Deogarh is a lovely city located at the boundaries of Marwar, Merwara and Mewar which is about 80 kilometres away from Udaipur. Udaipur is a famous city in Rajasthan state.Deogarh is encircled by the Bhil villages, situated at the altitude of about 2100 high from the ground. The life style of Deogarh villages are very colourful and unique.


Deogarh is famous for its school of Miniature paintings. These paintings are intricately designed and are very unique in their way. Most of the frescos are seen on the walls of the fort of Deogarh. From Deogarh Ranakpur Jain temples and Kumbhalgarh fort are nearby.

Deogarh Mahal is one of the prominent destinations in Deogarh, this mahal is erected on top of Arvalli hills. This amazing mahal was founded in the year 1670 AD by Rawal Dwarka Das Ji. This mahal served as the public centre of the villagers during festivals and celebrations. The Rawal who erected this mahal was the tribal chief among the sixteen Umraos. From the top of this Mahal, one can admire the incredible beauty of lakes and Aravalli hills. This amazing mahal is now converted into a heritage hotel.
