- By rail:Alappuzha junction railway station is a major railway station in the Southern Railway zone and also well connected with Kochi, Trivandrum, and other places. The beach is within 1-2 km of the station, and it can be accessed through an inexpensive and short auto-rickshaw ride.
- By road: Alappuzha is well connected with KSRTC bus to all the major towns of Kerala. Bus stand is approximately 4.5 km from the beach and auto rickshaws can reach very conveniently. National Highway 66 is well connected by road and can be reached by own car or taxis.
- In-town travel: Rent auto-rickshaws for traveling within the towns (INR 50-100 for most of town routes).
