Day 01Arrival in Delhi and Transfer to Rishikesh

Arrive in Delhi, where you will be warmly greeted by our representative and transferred to Rishikesh, a peaceful town nestled in the foothills of the Himalayas. Upon arrival, check in at your luxurious Taj Ama property, where you will experience the ultimate comfort in one of the many private villas or bungalows surrounded by nature.

After settling in, enjoy a welcome drink and a gourmet lunch, made with fresh, locally sourced ingredients. In the afternoon, take a peaceful walk along the Ganges River, experiencing the calm beauty of this sacred waterway. In the evening, visit Triveni Ghat to witness the mesmerizing Ganga Aarti, a spiritual ceremony where the river is honored with fire, chants, and offerings.

Return to your property for a relaxing dinner, featuring a curated selection of regional and international cuisine.

Day 02Exploring Rishikesh’s Spiritual Sights

After a hearty breakfast at your Taj Ama property, start your day by visiting Neelkanth Mahadev Temple, a sacred temple dedicated to Lord Shiva. The temple is set amidst lush forested mountains and is a place of both spiritual significance and natural beauty.

Next, visit Laxman Jhula, an iconic suspension bridge that spans the Ganges. The bridge offers panoramic views of the river and surrounding hills, and you can explore nearby Swarg Ashram, a peaceful ashram known for its spiritual teachings.

Enjoy lunch at a local riverside café, where you can savor regional delicacies while overlooking the scenic beauty of the river. In the afternoon, visit Parmarth Niketan Ashram, one of the largest ashrams in Rishikesh, where you can take part in a yoga class or simply meditate in the serene surroundings.

Return to your Taj Ama property for an evening of relaxation. Treat yourself to a spa experience or enjoy a quiet dinner in the tranquil setting of your estate.

Day 03Full-Day Excursion to Haridwar

After breakfast, embark on a full-day excursion to Haridwar, located about 24 kilometers from Rishikesh. Haridwar is one of the holiest cities in India and a significant site for Hindu pilgrims. Upon arrival, visit the Har Ki Pauri ghat, one of the most famous locations for the evening Ganga Aarti. This ghat is said to be the spot where Lord Vishnu left his footprint, and it is one of the most sacred places for Hindus. You’ll witness the grandeur of the evening ceremony, with thousands of devotees offering prayers to the river.

Explore the Mansa Devi Temple, located atop the Bilwa Parvat, which is accessible via a cable car ride. This temple is dedicated to Goddess Mansa Devi, who is believed to fulfill the wishes of her devotees. You can enjoy the spectacular views of Haridwar from the temple’s location.

For lunch, enjoy a traditional North Indian meal at a local restaurant in Haridwar, sampling some of the city’s famous vegetarian dishes. In the afternoon, visit Chandi Devi Temple, another sacred site in Haridwar, dedicated to Goddess Chandi. The temple is perched on the Neel Parvat and offers panoramic views of the entire city.

Day 04Leisure in Rishikesh and Departure to Delhi

On your final day, enjoy a leisurely breakfast at your property. Spend the morning exploring Rishikesh’s local markets, where you can shop for souvenirs, religious books, or handwoven textiles. Alternatively, enjoy a relaxing yoga session by the river or indulge in a spa treatment to rejuvenate your body and soul.

For lunch, enjoy a delightful meal at the property before checking out. You will be transferred back to Delhi for your onward journey.
