You’ll be met on arrival in Bangalore and assisted with the transfer to your hotel. Staying near the airport means an easy departure tomorrow. Overnight in Bangalore

Day 2 - Bangalore - Bandipur

Leaving the city behind, head to the expansive grasslands of Bandipur National Park. Like Nagarhole, which you’ll visit next, this is a part of the massive Nilgiri Biosphere, South India’s largest area of protected habitat. There is, however, a huge contrast between the two, with Bandipur being significantly drier and more open, meaning sightings of wildlife are easier (but numbers of animals are not as high). Take a safari in the afternoon- with luck you’ll see your first elephants today. Overnight at Bandipur
