  • Day 3 : Chennai - Mahabalipuram

    After breakfast, drive to Mahabalipuram (approx. 2 hours), a historic coastal town once the capital of the Pallava dynasty. Explore UNESCO World Heritage Sites with a local guide, including the magnificent Shore Temple, Arjuna’s Penance - the world’s largest bas-relief - and a series of rock-cut temples.   • Day 4 : Mahabalipuram - Kanchipuram - Tiruvannamalai

    After breakfast, depart Mahabalipuram and head to Kanchipuram, one of India’s seven sacred cities. Renowned for its centuries-old temples and vibrant silk-weaving industry, the city is home to prominent shrines like Kanchi Kailasanathar Temple and Varadharaja Perumal Temple, dedicated to Lord Shiva and Lord Vishnu.   • Day 5 : Tiruvannamalai

    Today, drive south to the culturally rich Chettinad region, home of the Chettiar merchant community. Visit one of these mansions and experience a stay in a beautifully restored Chettinad heritage hotel.   • Day 9 : Chettinad - Madurai

    After breakfast, drive to Madurai, one of the oldest cities in India, just two hours from Chettinad. Madurai was designed centuries ago with the Meenakshi Temple at its centre, laid out in perfect squares around it. More than a spiritual centre, the temple is also a vibrant cultural and social hub.
