Regional Science Centre

Welcome to the wisdom of knowledge, where you will be amazed by the workings of technical studies displayed and explained well enough to immerse even a non-science fanatic. The place fascinates the visitors, and all credit goes to the National Centre of Science Museums (NCSM), an essential branch of the Ministry of Culture, for building this magnificent library on 1989, September 18, in Bhubaneswar, one of the commercial hubs of Odisha state. The main objective of this museum is to spread awareness and induce interest among people in all branches about how our lives intertwine with science and technology. By visiting this country’s science experiment galaxy, which has been successful through all time, one can experience vast things to educate and explore throughout this science complex.

Other enticing subjects of this practical palace are mathematics, chemistry, physics, material science, and even astronomy. There were galleries to show off the experiments and definitions of technical and practical studies; among them, the three most important were the motion gallery, which helps in understanding concepts through visual art; the mathematics gallery, which indicates the influence of math in daily life; and the popular science gallery, where rigorous demonstrations take place on different ideas and perceptions or even innovations.

But that's not all! There is a science park with so many communicational outdoor activities to enrich the knowledge of young science explorers, and there stands a prehistoric life park that engages all age enthusiasts with some animated creatures (Dinosaurs) set up in a narrating voice with colourful lights to learn about the actualities of humans and nature in bygone eras. The place is the right choice to delve into the dreams of one’s pioneering interest in science fiction. A compactly constructed museum containing a 3D theatre, a planetarium, and an area explaining Science in a circle is all a student or scholar can ask for!

The Centre of Science Museum helps illustrate the developments of technology and science in everyday life and arranges seminars, lectures, campus, and multiple programs to enlighten students, teachers, and science and tech fanatics, with more departments to enhance technical holds. So what do you want more of? Everything here happily awaits you to feed you with great brilliance.
