Chinakkathoor Bhagavathy Temple
The Chinakkathoor Temple is a prominent Hindu shrine situated in Palappuram, in the Palakkad district of Kerala. It is one of the oldest Devi temples in the region. The temple consists of two shrines: Thazhekavu (lower shrine) and Melakavu (upper shrine), with Melakavu believed to be older than Thazhekavu. The temple also has a shrine dedicated to Lord Ganapathy in his divine "Vidya Ganapati" form, located near the iconic banyan tree within the temple complex.
