See Rishikesh, where rishis (seers, prophets) have gathered and taught for centuries beside the Ganges, in the foothills of the Himalayas. For more than two weeks you can relax, contemplate, reflect and travel inwards.
Day 1: Arrive to a traditional welcome, transfer to hotel, O/N Delhi
Day 2: Sightseeing of India's capital visiting Qutb Minar, India Gate, Humayan's Tomb, evening sound and light show at the Red Fort, O/N Delhi
Day 3: Train to Haridwar where you will be met and transferred to your hotel. PM sightseeing tour of the holy cities of Haridwar and Rishikesh, visiting Ashrams and Yoga and meditation centres. O/N at your choice of ashram or hotel in Haridwar.
Day 4 to 7: 4 Days of meditation and yoga classes, lectures regarding meditation and time to relax in these tranquil surroundings. O/N Haridwar
Day 8: Depart Haridwar and check into a nature camp at Shivpuri relax and acclimatize to the surroundings. Later enjoy a nature walk inside the reserve forest, home to many species of antelope and deer as well as sloth bear, leopard and a variety of bird life.O/N Shivpuri
Day 9: Early morning Yoga class, then river-rafting on some of the most exciting rapids on the Ganges, with evening time for meditation and O/N Shivpuri.
Day 10: Day of meditation, trekking and wildlife safari, O/N Shivpuri
Day 11: Early morning yoga class and day free for options activities, quiet time or relaxation. Evening train to Delhi, O/N Delhi.
Day 12: Drive via Sikandra to Agra for visits to Agra Fort and the magnificent Taj Mahal, O/N Agra
Day 13: Drive to Jaipur, en route visiting Fatehpur Sikri., a masterpiece in sandstone with the stunning elegance of its palaces and courts. PM sightseeing tour of the Pink City, O/N Jaipur
Day 14: Return to Ahmadabad (170km) for connecting or international flight home.
